Part 1 of College Art Work

So before I even start with this post about my art work I have something to tell everyone! You all know that in school you don't really see too much TV or know what new channels there are unless you are home or at someone's house. Today I was REALLY bored and decided to channel surf and came across this gem, Ovation. It is a network all about the arts and bringing them to the people. Today I watched some documentaries about Baroque art and one about Manet. I was soooo thrilled! You have to check it out! Here is a link to their website http://www.ovationtv.com/.

Alright back to the show. The real reason for this post was to show what I have been working on throughout this year/semester.

"Wax Dragon" Created in PhotoShop CS6
This piece was for my Illustration class. We had to mix two words together and create something out of them and I chose wax and dragon. Personally, I want to push it a little more before I put it in my final portfolio, but I think it turned out pretty good.

"Self" Created in PhotoShop CS6
This piece was for my Digital Arts class. We had to make self portraits and I hate having my picture taken, so I drew myself. I added other drawings that I have done to show that I have different styles.

"Alice Falling" Created in PhotoShop CS5.5
This piece was for my Digital Arts class. This was the free project that we could do whatever we wanted to do. So I took the classic "Alice and Wonderland" and flipped it upside down. I feel like that this piece is the most representational of my style and what I can do than all of my other pieces and I am very proud of it.

So this is it for this round. Next time I am thinking that there is going to be more or maybe some of my animations that I managed to get off the sever before leaving school. We shall see tomorrow, won't we? Until next time, enjoy the sunshine and the blue skies! Oh and take pictures of your summer fun because you never know what memories you are going to capture.
